Onboard Anti-Malware Scanning and Remediation

Enables onboard anti-malware scanning powered by an integrated Trellix module on encrypted USB drives such as the DL4 FE via SafeConsole, continuously scanning and sanitizing files before storage and during use to detect, block, quarantine, or destroy malicious software—including viruses, worms, ransomware, trojan horses, and spyware—based on policy settings before threats can infect critical infrastructure, compromise data, or spread to the network.

Always-On Background Protection

Provides continuous, network-independent malware protection running directly in the background on the encrypted device without requiring administrator privileges, ensuring USB drives remain secure even when disconnected or used outside of the corporate network.

Tamper-Resistant Protection

Prevents users or external programs from disabling the anti-malware service, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted endpoint security.

Unlocker Application Integration

Integrates anti-malware protection directly into the Unlocker application on onboard encrypted USB drives, delivering protection at the device level.

Automatic Virus Definition Updates

Automatically updates virus definitions via Trellix to keep secure USB drives protected against the latest malware threats.
