Provides cryptographic security meeting FIPS 140-2 Security Level 3 requirements, powered by an integrated Bluefly Security Processor.
02
External USB Hard Drive Form Factor
Provides portable storage as an external USB hard drive device.
03
Device Identification and Serial Numbering
Identifies the device on host systems using USB VID 0x230A and PID 0x2221, encodes key device details in the serial number (where a starting letter 'F' indicates a FIPS 140-2 compliant version, 'B' indicates a non-FIPS version, and digit '6' encodes the H100 model), and features a serial number sticker located on the back or bottom of the device enclosure.
04
End of Life and Support Status
Designates that the H100 device has reached its End of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) status.
05
Device Recycling and Management Code Administration
Supports a case-sensitive management code (default 'RECYCLE') required for recycling, resetting, and updating the read-only partition without granting access to private data or secure key material (which may prevent recovery if lost and becomes non-functional once changed), and enables resetting the device to factory defaults to erase all data and configurations via the device's executable, the Actions menu in older clients, or by right-clicking the system tray icon in newer clients.
