SafeConsole Centralized Remote Management

Integrates with the DataLocker SafeConsole platform (version 5.8.0 and later) to enable centralized, remote device administration, policy enforcement, auditing, device control, and remote anti-malware scanning. Enables administrators to remotely lock, disable, wipe all data, reset the device to factory settings, or trigger emergency SilentKill destruction if the device is lost, stolen, or compromised. Allows administrators to set organization-wide and device-specific security policies, compliance rules, password complexity requirements, and administrative policy filtering based on endpoint software and host OS. Provides comprehensive audit trails, usage monitoring, user activity tracking, and data access logging through SafeConsole-generated logs and reports. Allows remote password resets via the Unlocker.exe application, supports optional two-factor authentication requiring a server connection or computer certificate, and automatically scans files to quarantine or destroy malware and ransomware.

Windows Deployment, Host Integration, and Device Unlocking

Requires a Windows OS and the Unlocker.exe application for initial management setup and device deployment, supporting device operations on Windows systems in managed mode. Enables automatic mounting as a standard drive on Windows machines after successful password entry and physical connection, utilizing a CONNECT option to initiate a secure connection to a host computer, and hosts a read-only partition provisioned with the Unlocker.exe application to enable easy management and unlocking.

Physical Serial Number and Asset Tagging

Matches the drive's external physical asset tag to its internal serial number, enabling easy identification and device tracking via a physical sticker (labeled 'Serial No.' or 'S/N') located on the back or bottom of the enclosure, and facilitating seamless integration with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), asset management, and security platforms including SafeConsole.
