ZONECENTRAL is an encryption and right-to-know management software that provides data confidentiality and cryptographic partitioning for files across desktops, network shares, and virtual environments. The system installs on end-user workstations and operates in the background, applying an organization's predefined, digitally signed security policies after user authentication. It encrypts data including local files, partitions, removable media, and user profiles, while leaving system files unencrypted to permit IT maintenance. This methodology restricts file access to authorized personnel without requiring structural changes to existing storage infrastructure.
The software enforces data access through cryptographic tokens and security policies that cannot be modified by system administrators. It supports high-density multi-user environments, such as Citrix server farms, by cryptographically isolating data for simultaneous user sessions on the same server.
