Ziperase supports data erasure on multiple device types including MacBooks, laptops, desktops, servers, and loose drives. It is compatible with various drive types such as ATA, eMMC, FibreChannel, IDE, NVMe, RAID, SAS, SATA, and SCSI.
02
Automated Erasure Process
The software automates the data deletion process, requiring minimal operator interaction. It uses advanced image processing techniques and USB emulation to replicate mouse and keyboard actions for device interaction.
03
Certified Erasure Methods
Ziperase employs data erasure methods that meet or exceed NIST SP 800-88 R1 and IEEE 2883-2022 guidelines. It offers multiple erasure patterns including CESG CPA 3-pass, GOST-R-50739-95 1-pass and 2-pass, Gutmann Method 35-pass, Standard Overwrite 1-pass, NAVSO P-5239-26 MFM 3-pass, NAVSO P-5239-26 RLL 3-pass, NIST 800-88-r1 Purge, NIST 800-88-r1 Purge or Clear, DoD 5520.22-M (E) 3-pass, US Army AR-380-19 3-pass, and VSITR 7-pass.
04
Tamper-Proof Reporting
Ziperase generates digitally signed, tamper-proof data erasure certificates for each erasure process. These certificates include details such as Document ID, System Hardware, Storage Device, Erasure Results, and S.M.A.R.T. data.
05
S.M.A.R.T. Checked Erasure
The software includes S.M.A.R.T Checked Array Erasure, which provides drive health information through S.M.A.R.T parameters to identify reliability issues early. Users can reject hard drives with high power-on hours or excessive reallocated sectors.
