ZED! is a desktop application that creates encrypted containers to secure files, folders, and complete tree structures during transit, storage, and exchange. The software operates without a server component, using AES 256-bit encryption to protect data across media such as email, collaborative sharing platforms, and physical devices. There are no volume constraints on the encrypted containers it produces.
The system supports strong authentication mechanisms, including smartcards and cryptographic tokens, and allows organizations to implement company-wide recovery plans. A ZED-API kit is available for automated container production and workflow integration. Companion applications provide access on iOS and Android devices, while a ZED! FREE version allows external recipients to decrypt and respond to the encrypted containers.
