X3-Series by Profitap is an advanced network packet broker platform designed to provide complete visibility over packets and flows with complex advanced processing for extended visibility. The X3-Series includes multiple models such as the X3 Network Packet Broker, X3 In-Line Decryption, and X3 GTP Correlation. It offloads network security and performance monitoring tools by handling advanced traffic optimization tasks, including passive TLS Decryption, Data Masking, Packet Deduplication, and NetFlow export. The X3-Series features passive SSL/TLS decryption, data masking, packet deduplication, TCP packet reordering, fragments re-assembling, full tunneling capability, packet slicing, IMSI filtering, timestamping, export NetFlow v5/v9, L2-L7 filtering, DPI, load balancing, any-to-any replication and aggregation, and microburst protection. It supports passive out-of-band TLS decryption using a private key to decrypt SSL traffic and forwards it to out-of-band security or analysis appliances. The X3 In-Line Decryption models support up to TLS 1.3 passive in-line decryption. The X3-Series GTP Correlation models are purpose-built for GPRS Tunneling Protocol (GTP) traffic correlation and filtering, providing insights into mobile network performance, security, and user experience. The X3-Series can identify control traffic using filters such as IMEI, MSISDN, IMSI prefix, IMSI suffix, and Cell ID, providing correlated control and data traffic through replication and session-aware load balancing. It supports speeds of 1G, 10G, 40G, and 100G with interfaces including 48 x 1/10G SFP+ and 4 x 40/100G QSFP28 for the X3-880G model, and 24 x 1/10G SFP+ and 2 x 40/100G QSFP28 for the X3-440G model.
