TrustVisitor by CertiPath is an enterprise high-assurance pre-screening visitor management solution designed for federal compliance. TrustVisitor helps organizations and facilities achieve compliance with HSPD-12, M-19-17, and NIST SP 800-116, Revision 1. It allows approved visitors with suitable credentials from the same or another agency to use those credentials for physical access to a facility during a visit. If visitors lack such credentials, they receive temporary credentials via TrustVisitor that work with the PACS electronically. TrustVisitor manages the complete location visit life cycle seamlessly and securely. It distinguishes between guests by validating credentials and automatically provisioning access. TrustVisitor continuously validates electronic credentials and facilitates access to the appropriate location for an event. Employees create events through their calendar application. TrustVisitor identifies which attendees have access to the location and which do not. It makes this determination for attendees internal to an organization and external attendees who are not part of the organization. Attendees who need temporary access to the location receive links to register for the specific event. TrustVisitor Mobile Approval enables Approvers to approve or reject guests via mobile devices. When a guest registers for an event, TrustVisitor sends an approval email to the designated Approver or group for the event location. The email includes details about the guest, event, and location. If using the FedCheck background check tool, it also includes background check details on the guest. The Approver (and the organization’s security department, as appropriate) simply replies to the approval email with one of the following commands: “Approve,” “Approve-Escort Required,” “Reject,” or “Reject and Add to Do Not Admit List.”
