TrustMonitor by CertiPath continuously monitors the trust network by analyzing credential validity and monitoring certification authority (CA) availability. It supports public, community, and enterprise-specific settings, enabling near-real time monitoring and validation of personnel credentials across large enterprises and federated identity communities. TrustMonitor serves as the core processing engine for status validation, handling on-demand and periodic validation requests from TrustSuite products. It supports third-party integrations via RESTful APIs, proactively tracks and updates credential information for quicker synchronization of status changes, and streamlines trust path configuration. TrustMonitor provides instant notifications, impact analysis, and trend information for real-time situational awareness. It supports incident response handling with alert features, reporting, and real-time and historic trend information on specific incidents. TrustMonitor monitors Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) distribution points to verify the validity and integrity of certification authorities (CAs), Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs), and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) infrastructure. It examines objects and reports changes since the last examination, displaying results in the TrustMonitor interface, showing a visual depiction of PKIs, trust chain artifacts, trust relationships, and problem conditions in the federated community. TrustMonitor provides email and text alerts to designated personnel before issues arise, and local administrators can set notification thresholds and enable alerts for specific PKIs.
