Xiphera's True Random Number Generator (TRNG) is a hardware-based IP core (XIP8001B) designed for FPGA and ASIC implementations. XIP8001B includes an entropy source, online health tests, and construction compliant with NIST SP 800-90B. The TRNG IP core features a standard-compliant AES-CBC-MAC-based entropy extractor and is used in other Xiphera products like TLS 1.3 and MACsec. XIP8001B has been verified with multiple FPGA families from Intel, AMD, Lattice Semiconductor, and Microchip, passing popular test suites including dieharder, NIST SP800-22, and SP800-90B.
