TOSIBOX SoftKey by Tosibox complies with high security standards for all TOSIBOX products. It is created using the same safe procedures as hardware Keys. TOSIBOX SoftKey is computer- and user-specific, meaning it cannot be copied or moved to another device. To activate TOSIBOX SoftKey on a PC or Mac, a SoftKey license for the Master Key is required. It can also be installed into cloud services and virtual environments. Access rights can be granted immediately from anywhere in the world. TOSIBOX SoftKey works without a physical TOSIBOX Key device and corresponds to a Sub Key controlled by a physical Master Key. It cannot create more keys or Mobile Clients. TOSIBOX SoftKey can be used on computers without a USB port. Each Tosibox system requires at least one physical TOSIBOX Key (Master Key) to operate Tosibox Nodes, and creating a backup key is recommended. All other keys can be SoftKeys. A Master Key user can revoke access rights from a SoftKey, as with all Sub Keys and Mobile Clients. TOSIBOX SoftKey software and physical TOSIBOX Key devices can be used on the same computer. Two-factor authentication is achieved with TOSIBOX SoftKey: device-specific and password-protected. TOSIBOX SoftKey is supported on any operating system compatible with the TOSIBOX Key.
