TOSIBOX Lock for Container by Tosibox is a software-only solution designed to connect IPCs, HMIs, PLCs, controllers, and other devices to the Tosibox network, serving as the endpoint for secure remote connections. It enables secure access to connected devices over the Internet and LAN/WAN networks via encrypted VPN. TOSIBOX Lock for Container is suitable for demanding applications in medical, marine, transport, and oil industries, providing secure connectivity to hardware devices. It is also ideal for developers, device manufacturers, and integrators innovating new ecosystem technology. The patented Tosibox connection method serves as an endpoint for the TOSIBOX secure VPN tunnel and is compatible with all Tosibox devices and products. It supports two-way VPN connections to/from Virtual Central Lock (HUB) and one-way VPN connections from TOSIBOX Key. The VPN throughput is limited only by the network connection. TOSIBOX Lock for Container supports Layer 3 connections and can run behind NAT and in firewalled networks without interfering with operating system processes or middleware. It does not need access to system files and doesn’t change any system-level settings. The solution works with any combination of TOSIBOX Nodes and Keys and supports Industry 4.0 or IIoT initiatives.
