ThreatCast by Guardsquare is a mobile application threat monitoring tool designed for iOS and Android apps. It provides real-time visibility into threats from devices running your application, helping you understand reverse engineering efforts and attack targets. ThreatCast captures basic telemetry of the device, device metadata, and forensics about the mobile threat detected. It integrates with SIEM tools or fraud/anti-cheat systems through custom webhook integration. ThreatCast is not suitable for a mobile SDK, as your SDK will be consumed by many end applications that you do not control. It enables developers to view attacks and suspicious activity as they occur, analyze threat actors’ attempts at reverse engineering and tampering, and identify common attack vectors. ThreatCast detects environmental threats, app threats like tampering, and code threats where actors alter your app’s logic. It provides continuous insight into an application's security once it's published and downloaded, allowing you to adapt protections for future builds. ThreatCast generates a Protection Report for each mobile app build that incorporates its protections, assessing your app’s security configuration against key risk categories and providing recommendations to improve security efficacy.
