The Thistle Security Platform is an integrated suite of security and management tools designed for IoT and embedded device manufacturers. It provides infrastructure for managing device fleets, handling software updates, and enabling hardware-backed secure boot capabilities. The platform consists of the Thistle Cloud backend, the Thistle Update Client (TUC) running on edge devices, and developer tools for local management and CI/CD integration.
The platform enables full filesystem and file-based over-the-air (OTA) updates with A/B verified rollback protection for Linux and Zephyr RTOS devices. It also provides capabilities for secure AI model deployment, real-time fleet telemetry, and cryptographic verification of all software using external Key Management Systems (KMS) or hardware security modules.
