Teleport Identity by Teleport enhances infrastructure security with identity governance and security. Teleport Identity is an add-on to Teleport Access that provides identity governance and security for infrastructure. It allows for less-privileged roles by default, requiring users to request additional permissions temporarily, eliminating permanent admin roles for attackers to target. Teleport Identity can restrict access to users with trusted devices for added protection against phishing and exfiltration. During active security incidents, Teleport Identity can lock down specific users, roles, and infrastructure resources to contain incidents with minimal disruption.
