Tahoe 8850 by Interface Masters Technologies is a 1U Artificial Intelligence Ready Networking Appliance featuring an ARM-based architecture with a 5nm Marvell OCTEON 10 DPU CN106 ARM-64 multicore processor. It supports any off-the-shelf PCIe x16 network card, including advanced NVIDIA or AMD GPUs, validated using ANSYS thermal simulation. The Marvell SDK operates on multiple Linux distributions, and the integrated DPDK library allows writing customer-specific user space network applications using included RVU-based coprocessors. US Development and Production guarantees secure hardware with full certifications: UL, cUL, and CB 62368-1. Tahoe 8850 can be updated to support CN103 as an alternative OCTEON 10 DPU. Target applications include appliances benefiting from hardware accelerators such as integrated hardware ML/AI acceleration, hardware-based VPP acceleration, integrated 1Tb switch, true inline crypto, programmable packet processors, secure boot, physically unclonable function, and PCIe DMA acceleration. It features dual-redundant hot-swap power supplies and four field-replaceable fans. The environmental specifications include an operating temperature range of -5° to 45°C, storage temperature range of -40° to 85°C, and operating humidity of 5 to 95%, non-condensing. The dimensions are 18.0 inches in length, 1.75 inches in height, and 16.8 inches in width.
