Tableau System by Trustle is a business intelligence and data visualization tool for exploring and analyzing data with interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs. Trustle provides integrated access management and governance features for responsible data use on the platform. The integration allows administrators to view all site content, user privileges, and licensing, helping system owners make informed decisions. With the Tableau connector, Trustle admins can view site-wide content, including all projects, workbooks, and sheets on the Tableau Site, along with the privileges assigned to each resource. Trustle organizes Tableau content in its native hierarchical state, allowing users to view content as it is laid out on the site. It displays available permissions for each content piece, allowing users to see who has or has requested access. Content can be made visible in Trustle’s catalog for access requests, and access can be temporary or on-demand. Trustle tracks when Tableau content is accessed, by whom, and under what privileges. Reports can be viewed by user or content and printed in PDF and CSV formats for audits. Users can request access to Tableau content and specify desired permissions. Based on users’ Role, Group Memberships, and Permissions, access can be granted through the Trustle connector. History of access approvals and grants, as well as any usage data, are available through the connector’s History tab. Trustle System Owners and Provisioners can track license usage on their Tableau Sites. Trustle’s recommendation engine considers the context of the Tableau role or resource being provisioned. Trustle manages approval workflows and assigns tasks to a Tableau Administrator for changes. The Recommendations Engine identifies underutilized or unused licensed accounts, allowing you to flag them for further review. Trustle identifies accounts that require multi-factor authentication (MFA), SSO authentication, and revokes access for users no longer in the system.
