Sunnic E-Trust Guard by Sunnic provides end-to-end application layer encryption security to protect passwords and sensitive data. It uses a unique challenge-response authentication method to make it virtually impossible to derive user passwords during data transmission. The one-time challenge feature prevents replay attacks. Sunnic E-Trust Guard ensures secure end-to-end authentication by creating a security domain between the user’s device and the HSM. The password is encrypted on the user’s device and can only be decrypted for verification inside the FIPS-certified HSM secure boundary, keeping it hidden from the System administrator and HSM’s owner.
