The platform reduces the complexity of managing multiple DRM systems by using a single backend service capable of handling different DRM schemes. Streamkeeper Multi-DRM supports both live streaming and on-demand video, offering content protection for streaming workflows. The solution can be integrated with CDNs that support encrypted streaming formats such as MPEG-DASH and HLS. CENC (Common Encryption) allows content to be encrypted once and then packaged for multiple DRM systems (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay) without re-encrypting it for each one. Streamkeeper supports CENC for interoperability between different DRM systems. The platform supports 4K and UHD content protection using DRM technologies. Streamkeeper supports device authentication by verifying device credentials during the license request process, ensuring that only authorized devices can access the content. The solution allows configuration of resolution and bitrate restrictions via license policies.
