StartMeStick is a hardware device designed to revive older computers by providing a separate bootable environment. It operates directly from a physical key without requiring software installation or downloading on the host machine. The system features a bootloader menu with multiple configuration options, supporting both UEFI firmware and Windows SecureBoot.
The device includes built-in Ethernet and WiFi drivers to automatically establish an internet connection upon startup. It can automatically retrieve active WiFi credentials from the host Windows operating system or allow users to manually select networks. StartMeStick stores all automatic updates directly on the device and operates on an annual subscription model to maintain continuous security and feature updates.
