Stamus Network Probe by Stamus Networks is a component of the Stamus Security Platform designed for network traffic inspection and analysis. It uses deep packet inspection to perform real-time threat detection, enrich events with metadata, and capture protocol transactions, flow data, extracted files, and full packet captures. The probe analyzes network traffic and delivers data to the Stamus Central Server for analytics, processing, and threat detection. It is available in different versions to monitor network speeds ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Stamus Network Probe can be deployed in private cloud, public cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments to monitor east-west and north-south traffic. It is compatible with popular cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The probe can be installed as a turn-key appliance or on bare metal servers or virtual machines, providing flexibility in deployment across various locations including headquarters, branch offices, and data centers.
