SmartNA-XL by Network Critical is an intelligent, hybrid TAP and packet broker designed to provide high-speed performance and flexibility for managing tools that protect network infrastructure and secure information. It features a modular 1RU chassis with five slots for various Passive, Active, or Bypass TAP modules, ensuring network reliability. SmartNA-XL supports seamless monitoring of critical links from 1Gbps to 40Gbps in the same chassis and includes advanced features such as aggregation, filtering, load balancing, and port mapping. The non-blocking backplane allows traffic flow at 10Mbps. Even during power failure, network traffic continues to flow, making SmartNA-XL a leader in network access and visibility. It is managed by Network Critical’s Drag-n-Vu™ software, providing an intuitive graphical user interface for fast, error-free configuration and management. SmartNA-XL also introduces GRE support, allowing monitoring of multi-site networks from a centralized location. The platform is compatible with all major manufacturers' monitoring tools, including protocol analyzers, probes, and IDS, and is designed to optimize rack space efficiency and minimize costs for high-performance network monitoring and visibility solutions.
