SmartNA by Network Critical is a modular hybrid packet broker solution designed to enable visibility for tools that monitor network traffic and secure confidential information. It is scalable from 1 to 2RU and features a 1Gbps chassis backplane that allows copied traffic to be shared and filtered between the ethernet TAP's module without throughput limitations. Managed by Network Critical’s web GUI interface, SmartNA offers simple and accurate deployment and change management. It includes advanced features such as aggregation, filtering, and port mapping through the GUI. SmartNA is compatible with all major manufacturers’ monitoring tools, including protocol analyzers, probes, and IDS, and supports hot-swappable TAP modules for easy re-configuration and expansion. It ensures zero point of failure and no latency, maximizing visibility and increasing efficiency for connected monitoring and security tools.
