The Septier SIM Box Finder is a dedicated last-mile positioning device designed to locate fraudulent SIM boxes that terminate calls into cellular networks and cause voice revenue leakage. By acquiring the subscriber lines of a targeted SIM box, the system enables telecommunication operators and on-site teams to pinpoint the exact physical location of unauthorized equipment in the field.
During localization operations, the system works in conjunction with the Septier Hunter positioning device to close in on targeted hardware. It features capabilities to dynamically decrease the transmission power of the target device, which fine-tunes the homing-in process and mitigates the risk of signal reflections, ultimately facilitating the confiscation of fraudulent SIM boxes and ancillary equipment.
