Scout is a low-SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power, and Cost), passive radiofrequency (RF) sensing platform designed for continuous low-altitude airspace awareness. The hardware is optimized for the detection and classification of commercially available (COTS) and government-operated (GOTS) drones by passively observing their control links and proprietary telemetry. Operating without emitting RF signals, the platform provides persistent, unattended observation while avoiding spectrum interference.
The sensor system is built for rapid deployment and dense distribution across urban, infrastructure, and event environments. It utilizes edge processing to handle detection and classification directly at the device, minimizing backhaul needs. Designed as an attritable asset with a 10W average power draw and self-contained LTE and LEO connectivity, Scout streams real-time data to a centralized intelligence platform without relying on local infrastructure.
