Joe Sandbox Mail Monitor is an automated e-mail monitoring solution designed for analyzing suspicious, user-reported phishing and abuse e-mails. The system allows security analysts to set up dedicated mailboxes where end-users can forward suspicious messages. Upon receipt, it automatically inspects all included URLs and file attachments to detect phishing attacks, malicious webpages, and advanced cyber threats.
Post-analysis, the system generates and sends a customized reply with the security verdict back to the reporting user, eliminating the need for manual uploads or downloads. It simultaneously triggers notifications to security operations centers (SOC), computer incident response teams (CIRT), or computer emergency response teams (CERT), granting them direct access to the detailed analysis reports and results.
