The DataLocker SafeStick is a hardware-encrypted USB storage device designed for secure data storage and transport across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. Available in standard, FIPS-validated, and managed models, the device features storage capacities of 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB, providing read speeds up to 165 MB/s and write speeds up to 22 MB/s. Administrators centrally manage the hardware through the SafeConsole application and its API, registering devices via unique serial numbers, barcodes, and hardware IDs. The device records and transmits operational telemetry, reporting firmware status, recovery codes, access timestamps, IP addresses, and geolocation data for administrative monitoring. The managed SafeStick product line has reached End of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS), operating on a final firmware version of 4.8.49.
