RomWebClient by Allegro Software is a toolkit designed for embedded devices to support HTTP 1.1 for sending and receiving HTTP objects in any format with Web servers. It enables IoT devices to communicate with cloud resources, download configuration files, and retrieve software updates. RomWebClient allows engineering teams to leverage Web technology when creating custom IoT devices, enabling products to send and receive objects to and from any Web server using HTTP with full support for IPv4 and IPv6. For secure communications, RomWebClient is integrated with Allegro's RomSTL TLS toolkit to utilize TLS v1.3 with FIPS and Suite B cryptography.
