RomSTL by Allegro Software is a small, resource-sensitive Transport Layer Security (TLS) client and server solution specifically designed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. RomSTL is a hardware and software platform agnostic solution built for efficient use of Allegro's FIPS cryptography. It supports the latest RFCs for TLS v1.3 and Suite B algorithms, as well as both IPv6 and IPv4 for embedded device development. Pre-integrated with Allegro's Secure IoT Suite, RomSTL enables TLS in embedded designs quickly and reduces risk. RomSTL supports TLS v1.1, TLS v1.2, and TLS v1.3 for secure server and client sessions, interoperating with any secure browser or server. It is integrated with RomCert, an implementation of OCSP and SCEP, enabling security certificate management in embedded systems and consumer electronics. RomSTL is standard ANSI-C source built on a portable abstraction layer for compatibility with any RTOS or TCP/IP stack.
