R-Vision VM by R-Vision is a vulnerability management automation system that helps identify information security vulnerabilities, aggregate them in a single database, prioritize discovered vulnerabilities, and control the process of their remediation. It consists of a management server and collectors, performing inventory and scanning of hosts for vulnerabilities using the built-in scanning module of the system collector. Once hosts are found, the system determines the connection protocol, selects an account, and connects to the host, allowing it to identify the operating system and execute a specified set of commands. Collected data is transmitted through the collector to the management server for processing, helping to organize a scalable and resilient architecture of the solution. Data can be received in the R-Vision VM system from external sources, through API, or manually entered. The modern web interface of R-Vision VM allows easy access to information, statistics, and report preparation for management.
