Qualys Cloud Agent is a lightweight, self-updating software agent that provides continuous 2-second visibility and security monitoring across hybrid IT environments. It enables vulnerability management, detection, response, and patching tasks with minimal system impact. The agent collects and processes security, compliance, and telemetry data across laptops, desktops, servers, tablets, smartphones, IoT, and OT devices. Operating through region-specific cloud agent servers and CDN infrastructure, it facilitates real-time asset monitoring and integrates with Qualys' Enterprise TruRisk Platform technologies including EDR, VMDR, CSAM, and FIM. The agent can be pre-deployed into system images or deployed on virtual machines, supporting both agentless and agent-based monitoring approaches for comprehensive security assessment and compliance monitoring.
