Qualified Website Authentication Certificate (QWAC) by Buypass AS is a qualified certificate issued under the same strict requirements as an SSL EV certificate. It proves to customers that a website is trustworthy and reliable. QWAC ensures that the website is linked to the legal entity to which the certificate is issued. It can only be issued by qualified trust service providers that meet the requirements set out in the eIDAS regulation. Buypass AS provides SSL QWAC tailored to PSD2 requirements and is the only Nordic provider listed with Open Banking Europe. The certificate is regulated according to eIDAS and PSD2 standards.
