Protectimus Slim NFC by Protectimus Ltd is a programmable hardware TOTP token designed for two-factor authentication (2FA). It is a contactless hardware token that supports OATH authentication standards and can be used with various services such as Google, Facebook, Dropbox, GitHub, Microsoft, and TeamViewer. Protectimus Slim NFC does not connect to the internet or GSM network, eliminating the risk of OTP interception via SMS or malware. It can be reprogrammed using an NFC-capable Android phone with the Protectimus TOTP Burner app, allowing reassignment for different services and secret key changes. The token features an IP68 protection rating, making it dust- and water-resistant. It has a compact mini-card form factor, measuring 64 mm x 38 mm x 0.9 mm, and includes an LED display with a 6-digit size and time indicator. Protectimus Slim NFC supports TOTP (time-based) IETF RFC6238 algorithms with SHA-1 and optional SHA-256 compliance. It can store one seed up to 32 symbols in Base32 and allows users to select the OTP lifetime of 30 or 60 seconds. The token operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and has a warranty period of 12 months.
