The Privacy Pack is an add-on component for Mimecast's email security platform that enables advanced content examination capabilities through specialized dictionaries. The component enables detection of sensitive data types such as credit card numbers, personally identifiable information, and other confidential data elements within email headers, body content, and attachments. The system can identify relationships between data elements and detect when sensitive information appears within specified character distances of related keywords or data types. The Privacy Pack dictionaries integrate with Mimecast's Content Examination engine to enhance detection capabilities for sensitive entities.
