PortalGuard SSO Concierge is a client-side agent designed to integrate thick client, legacy, on-premises, and web applications into a single sign-on (SSO) environment. It addresses applications that lack support for standard identity federation protocols or that utilize external identity stores. The solution is installed on end-user systems to provide SSO capabilities for these targeted applications.
The agent works by accessing a user's encrypted Credential Vault to obtain stored login information. It then automatically passes the appropriate credentials directly to the target application on the user's behalf. This process manages the authentication flow, eliminating the need for repeated logins and streamlining access for the end-user.
