The BIO-key Pocket10 is a hardware fingerprint scanner certified by the FBI for Mobile ID FAP 50 and Live Scan (10-Print) applications. Designed for law enforcement, military, border control, and national ID programs, the device utilizes Integrated Biometrics' Light Emitting Sensor (LES) technology to capture fingerprint images. It supports four-finger flat, two-finger flat, single-finger flat, and single-finger rolled capture types in a 4-4-2 format on a sensor area of 81.28 mm x 50.80 mm. The scanner is intended for use with identity and access management (IAM) solutions to perform biometric authentication.
Operating via a USB 2.0 connection, the device has a power consumption of less than 300mA at 4.40V to 5.25V, enabling it to be powered by mobile devices. It is built to meet military durability specifications and includes native anti-spoofing technology and automatic image quality detection. The Pocket10 provides cross-platform support for Windows, Linux, Android, and Java operating systems.
