tops plug&go is a secure digital identity provisioning solution deployed as a portable industrial computer near the production line. It is designed to manage the provisioning of keys, certificates, firmware, and data for medium-scale device production environments. The system automates the assignment of a unique digital identity per device during the manufacturing process.
The solution incorporates a built-in application server, a secure operating system, and secure storage hardware (TPM 2.0 or HSM) to protect certificates and keys on the factory floor. It manages full Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) trees, securely interfaces with external PKI platforms, and executes overproduction controls by generating signed production reports.
