The Frenos Platform is an operational technology (OT) security testing and posture management solution. It creates an isolated digital twin of a physical OT environment by ingesting data from controllers, sensors, network configurations, and asset registries. This digital twin allows the system to conduct adversarial simulations, security assessments, and penetration tests without interacting with or disrupting live production systems. The platform serves as both an automated assessment tool and a continuous OT security posture management (OT-SPM) solution for vulnerability and risk management.
At its core, the system uses an AI reasoning agent, the Simulated Adversary Intelligence Reasoning Agent (SAIRA), to model threat tactics and evaluate the exploitability of vulnerabilities within the context of existing controls. It integrates multiple threat intelligence sources to emulate realistic attacks, discover complex attack chains, and prioritize remediations based on business impact. The platform automates recurring security assessments and threat modeling to provide reports on risk reduction trends and actionable recommendations for network segmentation, firewall configurations, and system hardening.
