PINpad by Swivel Secure is an image-based authentication factor that is part of the AuthControl Sentry® multi-factor authentication solution. It utilizes patented PINsafe technology to provide secure access to applications internally, through VPN, or VDI. PINpad displays a 10-digit code in the form of a number grid in the user's web browser. Users authenticate by clicking on the numbers that represent their PIN within the grid, without directly typing their PIN. Each image clicked transmits a different one-time code (OTC) to AuthControl Sentry® for user authentication. This visual method enhances security by mitigating risks associated with keylogging and shoulder surfing attacks.
