The PCM 621 is a quad DC power relay designed to operate with any serial interface to perform remote power resets for DC devices. Its primary function is to remotely power cycle connected DC equipment experiencing a locked-up condition using serial commands. The module provides additional capabilities when utilized with a CDI Secure Out of Band Management device.
The device features terminal blocks rated at 10 amps each and works by interrupting power to a connected device when commanded to switch off the specific output connector's power relay. The module can execute a brief power interruption to reboot the connected equipment or maintain a powered-off state for extended periods of time.
