The PCM 620 is a Power Control Module operating as a dual power relay designed to integrate with standard serial interfaces. Its primary purpose is to conduct remote power resets for equipment experiencing a locked-up state. The device interrupts power to a connected device when commanded to switch off the relay to a specific output connector, allowing administrators to initiate short reboots or maintain extended power-down periods.
The module supports remote power reboots using serial commands and can be linked with other devices via serial connections to expand outlet capacity. Two PCM 620 units can be installed together in a 701 rack mount bracket. Additionally, the device unlocks expanded management functionalities when utilized alongside a CDI Secure Out of Band Management system.
