The Port Authority 244 is a secure, four-port out-of-band management device designed to provide continuous access to routers, firewalls, VOIP switches, and other network elements during network deterioration. It ensures secure management through mandatory two-factor authentication mechanisms.
The device is capable of authenticating RSA SecurID tokens locally, allowing for secure access even without an active network connection. Additionally, it supports tokenless two-factor authentication when paired with client-side PA222 devices.
