The Port Authority 222 (PA222) is a secure two-port out-of-band management device designed to provide access to routers, firewalls, VOIP switches, and other network elements when standard network conditions deteriorate. The device functions as hardware that can be installed as a head-end client in a Network Operations Center (NOC) to work in conjunction with remote field devices, or it can be utilized directly as a client-side device.
The system focuses on secure administration by offering localized two-factor authentication capabilities. It is engineered to independently authenticate RSA SecurID tokens without requiring an active network connection, and it also facilitates tokenless two-factor authentication for client-side deployments.
