Messageware OWA DLP is an endpoint, in-application data loss prevention solution built for Microsoft Exchange Server to secure the Outlook Web App (OWA) interface. It is designed to prevent unauthorized copying, printing, or sending of sensitive data by integrating directly into OWA. The system functions by blocking data from being copied to the operating system clipboard and preventing the printing of emails, contacts, calendar items, and Lync IM messages.
The solution includes a customizable secure send button that modifies email subject lines, enabling Microsoft Exchange transport agents or other third-party systems to encrypt or categorize messages based on corporate policies.
