The OTAC Holderless Card is a card issuance platform that facilitates card registration and activation through a real-time, dynamic OTAC (One-Time Authentication Code) algorithm. The system utilizes blank physical cards without pre-assigned numbers or names, which are issued in bulk. A user activates a card by tapping it on a mobile device with an application integrated with the swIDch OTAC SDK, which completes the registration and authentication process.
The platform enables administrators to manage authorization levels for shared physical cards, such as corporate or family cards, and to set specific card limits and expiration dates. The embedded OTAC algorithm permits the card to be extended into other operational use cases, including physical access control and web login authentication.
