Onyon by Covr Security is the next generation identity verification app designed for companies requiring strong customer authentication. Unlike most authentication methods that rely on passwords and provide only two factors (2FA), Onyon does not require passwords or personal credentials. Passwordless MFA uses facial recognition, 6-digit PINs, and fingerprint activation instead of passwords. Out-of-Band technology minimizes access point exposure with the smartphone as a second authentication channel for two-way communication. Onyon uses asymmetric (public-key) cryptography for data authenticity (non-repudiation).
