It requires ID documents with eID function (e.g., German ID card) read via NFC, and various national ID cards and passports read via OCR. It is compatible with NFC-enabled smartphones or tablets with the installed AUTHADA Business App (iOS or Android). Optional card readers are necessary for non-NFC-compatible devices.
