The ProDevice OMS900 is an automatic physical destruction device engineered to shred various data carriers, including server disks, 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives, solid-state drives, magnetic tapes, optical media, and mobile devices. The unit is equipped with a 3.75 kW (5.0 HP) motor, solid metal gears, and specially hardened steel cutters, allowing it to process between five and six media units per minute while maintaining an idling acoustic level of 55 dB.
The system incorporates a dual-entry feed design with 140 mm and 90 mm widths to accommodate different media formats. It includes automated operational mechanisms such as auto-start, auto-stop, and an automatic reverse function designed to prevent material jamming. Additional hardware capabilities include a patented cutter cleaning system that functions without oil, full container notifications, self-diagnostic monitoring, and an optional four-camera recording system for documenting the destruction process.
