The ProDevice OMS500 is a physical hardware shredder designed for the secure destruction of data storage media, including 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives, SSDs, USB drives, optical media, memory cards, and battery-free mobile devices. Powered by a 1.5kW engine, the unit utilizes hardened steel cutters, solid metal gearing, and a dual-entry system to process four to five items per minute at security levels up to H-5, E-4, and T-5.
Available in Basic and Professional configurations, the shredder incorporates automated controls such as automatic reverse for jam prevention, overload protection, and door-open sensors. The Professional model includes an integrated four-camera recording system that captures the operator, cutting blocks, and collection bin to document the media destruction process for archiving and auditing purposes.
