Nubo VMI (Virtual Mobile Infrastructure) by Nubo Software is a mobile virtualization technology that creates a virtual corporate device on employee smartphones and tablets. It delivers mobile applications while keeping data on remote servers in a secured cloud or enterprise server. The system runs a customized virtual Android platform compatible with iOS and Android devices, allowing IT teams to develop apps once for all users. Applications are streamed to devices using Nubo's patented UX over IP protocol, which is optimized for performance on mobile operating systems. Users access work apps via a thin, display-only client app, with zero data stored on the end user's device. Only display commands are transferred from the remote server to the thin client app. The system utilizes Virtual Machines in the data center, with each VM capable of hosting multiple user sessions, allowing it to operate on popular server virtualization products such as VMWare and Citrix.
